We stayed at the Big4 Howard Springs Kalinga. Ticked all the boxes for us. Its also on the way into Darwin.

Another endorsement for the Big 4 at Howard Springs. It is out of town, but less than 30 minutes drive to centre of Darwin.
If you want to be closer, another park we like is Hidden Valley Holiday Park - a large operation. Great en suite sites. Not cheap. Close to the Parkway road which is like a freeway almost to city centre. Is not far from airport, so can get a bit noisy at times when there are combined military exercises happening - but we find the planes entertaining.
Both these parks are far enough from the sea and mangroves for sandflies to be less of a problem than at other parks.

2 yrs ago, we stayed at Malak.

Not fancy, no bells or whistles, all en-suite sites. At the time $55 pr night or $300 plus power for week, (we used $17.52 on power).

2 c.pks next to each other, one pet friendly , the other no pets. On the highway, 10 min drive to Darwin.

Suited us just fine as we were not fussed about state of park as ther to see sites of Darwin.

Do your research on what you want from a park, but be prepared to pay for it. Some people we meet along the way told us they were paying $75 pr night.

Just tried link and it doesn't work; Just type Darwin Caravan parks in search box Top centre of page displayed. The OP question has been asked many times.

We have stayed several times recently at Howard Springs but also had a good stay at Discovery Parks Darwin, closer in for those days where you are off to see the things to see.... funny thing around midnight was going to have a go at the bloke who's car alarm kept going off. Stood next to his stupid car..... noise came from above, a clever (annoying) bird enchanting his would be mate.
