STONE PADDING ON FRONT OF CARAVAN

We have a Coromal caravan and the rubber padding on the front of the van has been damaged by stone chips.  We wish to replace it and wondering where this product is available. I have tried the internet with no success. We are not interested in replacing it with aluminium checker plate.   Thanks in advance

Check out local Motor Trimmers they should be able to redo like original, or even make a detachable "Bra" for front of van.

robjoe,
When I had an accident (I backed into the van) with our Eagle, the repair man did it with vinyl with a thin foam sheet underneath. Was impossible to tell the difference between mine & a newer van.

Advice - buy or make yourself a stone guard of some type. Mine cost <$20. Is an el Cheapo Rock Tamer.

Try Clark Rubber, they might not have the exact same thing but may have something similar or just as good. I used a black checkered rubber matting for the same purpose from them on my old Millard van a few years ago.

Gday Warren

I'm thinking of making a stone guard/rock tamer.  Photo of your design might be helpful.

Thanks

Glen

Look at thus concept,,, much better than what you pay $500 for IMHO.

Cost about $100 depending on how thick yr rubber is. Mine is 10mm so heavy enough to stay in place.

Re Clarke Rubber
I purchased some silver Checker Plate rubber or vinyl matting and installed on son's Caravan prior to sale and it looked great.

Maybe similar to stuff below, but it does not appear to be checker plate.

Robjoe, Yes Clark Rubber sell it in a silver and also Bunnings sell it in black about $30 a lm.
Good time to invest in a Stone Stomer protects van and tug.
