Drinking Water Tips

I understand that this is a subject dear to the hearts of those who are long-time bush campers, so when I came across this article I thought that I would share it with you...

I was particularly taken by the spray bottles for washing up.

Perhaps a bit along the lines of the single mug of water for morning ablutions when I was bush bashing in my CMF days.  How did that go  .. clean teeth, shave, wash face, wash armpits then groin & finally between toes.

Hope that you find it  (the link, I mean) of some use.

I rarely bush camp as SWMBO is not really into the bush or water & battery saving & that's OK, but I do have 2 approx 70L fitted tanks for showering & washing up et al.   For drinking & cooking, I have 6 or 8 10L WW water containers, that I refill as necessary; usually only 2 filled for short stays.

Good thoughts, I wish you would have stopped at "wash face, wash armpits." though! ha ha

many years ago i could have a complete body was in 2 mugs of water, however, apart from 60 ltrs in the caravan, i will have 280 litres capacity in the towing vehicle if i want it, still hate to waste it though. good for free camping, extended bush camping

Some good info there, Cupie

Thanks for sharing

Although I do not go off road, I do try to save water, and can have a good shower, with less than eight litres of water
