Caravan Repairs Perth

Hi I bought a Jayco destiny poptop and are having trouble with a leak in the roof. The van also needs some some interior repairs like a new mattress and seat recovering. Could I please get some recommendations of where to take the Van to get some repairs done. I live near Perth. Thanks

This is one place that should do the trick: The Caravan Shed, Unit 1, 28 Hammond Road, ****burn Central WA 6164, P: +618 9417 8828, email: Parts parts@thecaravanshed.com.au Now I am sure they have moved premises, so give them a ring, or email. They are jayco agents, with plenty of spares.

If you need a new mattress you cant go past Mr Mattress in Rockingham a great family business and are always most helpful
They make the mattress on their premises and have a show room there as well

if you are going to the caravan show he has a stall there

Perth Caravan Repair Centre - just off Tonkin Hwy at Beckenham - has done a few repairs for us and great to deal with

Just my personal opinions after using a number of repairers in Perth...

Ken Peachy: Probably the busiest and most professional, but I found them arrogant and patronising and wanted to do things their way only, with no room for discussion.

Perth Caravan Repair Centre: Has recently changed ownership, but previous crowd cut corners on repair and didn't follow agreed procedures. I won't use them again.

PDA Caravan Repairs: Friendly and flexible, but slow and need constant reminders, still waiting for them to finish the repair so can't comment on quality of the job.

I think the main problem you will find with any of them is that all Perth caravan repairers are overwhelmed with business at the moment, and it'll take a while for you to get booked in. If you are doing it through a manufacturer (warranty) or an insurance company you tend to get quicker service.

In Perths northern suburbs we have used Dan's Caravan Repairs - specifically for a roof leak on our slide-on camper - very pleased with their work. Unit 7/30 Prindiville Drive Wangara, Ph 08 94080997.

Cheers, Kay

Concur with jebs. We had two single bed mattresses made up by Mr Mattress to a custom size to fit our beds which I had recently widened for a bit more comfort.  Price and workmanship were highly satisfactory.

Cheers

John
