Greens Lake Hospitality

This is a "credit where credit is due/feel good" type post

In February 2019, while at Greens Lake a storm came and my annex went

After tying it up, as best I could. I was advised by the insurance repairer not to travel with it

Unfortunately there was some sort of miscommunication, between the insurer and the repairer
We were somehow left hanging, with the hanging awning

I was therefore stuck at Greens Lake for nearly a fortnight, with no transportation

Richard (Dicko), took me and Bev into Rochester, to shop, and also gave us shower water

Fay (Mooney?) also took Bev to Echuca, to do some shopping

Richard also loaned me a connection for my water system, as mine had split, he has also loaned me a side awning

So there it is, credit where credit is due

Well done guys.

Do you need a cut lunch and water bottle to get down to waters edge yet?

I too am missing Greens but still in the north east of the state. I won't make it there now until hopefully later this year.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

It is one of the facts of life, Andrew

We can be ourselves, but as long as we smile and try to be helpful, our friends will reciprocate, and accept us for what we are

 Edit to say

Opps

I was forgetting my manners, Andrew

I well remember the happy hour/evening, when you gave out the roasted potatoes, from your camp fire

Doug, the water is approximately 30 paces, (of my short legs), from the grass near the water pump, to the water of the lake

Last year it would have been about 15 paces

I heard a story, (third hand)

It appears that there was a meeting with the water board at Corop

They will build the new toilets, but will not add water to the lake, if/when it runs down

Unable to follow this story/rumour up, as I do not go onto facebook
