Gday...

There are quite a few in that area.

Do you have a Camps Book, or Wikicamps or suchlike?

There is this site - www.caravancaravan.com.au that has many sites listed, there are many good spots on the Murray River -

The dark green are camping spots -

Ok, this is a secret ok. Dont tell anyone

From Mulwala you drive 13km towards Tocumwal. There will be those shicanes on the roadside and where there is a break between them there's an entry. Enter and take the right fork towards Sandy beach. 2-3km to the Murray river. Top spot and...a sandy beach!

If you are travelling THE MURRAY RUN here is a great spot virtually in the heart of Echuca.

Stayed there 3 times as Echuca has a lot to offer.

Rotary Park Free Camping - Echuca VIC

Pet Friendly

Rotary Park is situated at 17 Rose Street, Echuca. Echuca is a glorious town on the banks of the Murray River 212km north of Melbourne. The park is managed by the Rotary Club and full time caretakers live on site. The park provides free camping for self contained RVs. There is a donation box near the dump site where you can contribute to the work being undertaken in the park. There is plenty of room near the main oval and also down beside the river which appeals to most campers. The park is approximately 4km from the town centre and in a quiet location. Pets are welcome but dogs must be on a leash. There are no amenities so your vehicle must be self contained. Photos on this page were taken on the 4th February 2016.

Since you asked for CP's as well as freebie sites, try the Willows CP at Cobram. All large drive through sites, lush grass, European trees for great shade. Lovely spot. Another great one is Moama Waters CP, again large grass sites on the banks of the Murray. Unlike many run down places this park is fairly new, everything clean and modern.
