Hi this is my first post I have a year 2000 Jayco rear door and it has the need to have touch up paint done and its very hard to get the white colour match we live in a small country town in WA I called Jayco Perth and that was a wasted phone call just hoping someone has had the need to do the same and can help with code or what ever for the white?? great mag and website
I'm a retired signwriter of 45 years so have been around paint for a long time. I have a 2012 Jayco poptop that the plastic fittings around lights and vents on the exterior have gone yellow and I have painted them with this product in a spray can from Bunnings. For my van it is a very close match to the white fibreglass finish. It is about $12 for the can and maybe worth looking at for your needs. This of course will depend on the area of touch up you need to cover and will not be the solution if you have to paint large areas. If you can get it then try it somewhere that is out of sight to see if it is the right colour for your van. I have used it in all sorts of applications away from the van and it seems to last well. Cheers
Realise that a year 2000 van is going to have fading and weather affected paint. Even if Jayco gave you the paint you would not like the colour match.
I would go with the excellent advice from Jaybird.....
I reckon that super cheap that has probably 4 shades of white might be an alternative. But their can are pretty small. You might need a couple from them.
