innovative ideas clothes lines, hitching up and your ideas

After a few years of using our triangular folding clothes line and tolerating it blowing over in the wind on occasions I made this mount. Fully detachable it erects higher than 6ft 1" outside to avoid head butters.

Have you got anything innovative on your caravan?

AK, I don't like our washing on the awning. We get many people talking when walking by, rather my undies are not snagged around their necks.... :)

SWMBO likes the mini 'Hills' hoist, so I have drilled holes through the legs to pin it down.  Works in most weather.

I prefer the modified wind up one (a retractable 'reel') that I clip into a bracket that I made and attached to the vertical sail track of the rear annex wall.  It then goes diagonally across the rear section of the annex area, through the eye of a hook attached to the centre pole of the awning roller support post & finally runs along the roller to attach via a sprung hook to the front of the awning roller.  (I use the D saddle bolted to the lower awning support arm, that is also used to clip one of my guy ropes to.)

We use this with annex on or off to hang the bath towels and similar without impeding our use of the area with washing hanging in front of your nose.   Is set up & taken down in less than a minute.

The washing goes on the mini 'Hills Hoist'.
