I don't think they get updated Gavin.

I know of a few that are not on the road anymore and a few maybe have gone to the big 'free camp' in the sky. I don't think that makes much difference though as they all make for interesting reading for those about to head out into the playground.

Mine was done back in the dark ages of 2014 and I had just got the Collie but now have the aluminium teepee. I am also now full time on the road. In fact, I went full time not long after mine hit the stands.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Often wondered if there was any housekeeping where a member joined X number of years and has never visited or at least not for a long time.

Also, what's the criteria for the Member Type (eg Veteran) ?

I was invited/asked if I would participate by Webmaster. I remember feeling honoured at the time.

Also no new editions of the Grey Nomads Times have been put on website since May last year,

I did PM the webmaster about this many months ago but never received a reply.

Hi All,
Thanks for the feedback. We put new stories up on the ‘Nomad news’ section of the website (thegreynomads.com.au) quite frequently. In terms of ‘Character’ stories, we haven’t taken too many of them offline recently although we do have a few more to put online. They are configured to appear randomly on the front page so the algorithm that determines which stories appear may be throwing up some old ones recently. Having said that, I agree that we may need to remove some of those old ones so that’s something that we will get onto in the near future, as well as putting some fresh ones online.
Thanks also for the reminder regarding putting links to the Grey Nomad Times on the website. It is also something that we’ve been meaning to do; however this somehow fallen through the cracks for awhile. We will get onto that very soon.
