Reminder to drink water

Hi all, its going to be 45 C in Adelaide tomorrow and 49 C in many other towns around the place, so just a reminder to drink plenty of water.

Yeah, I know it's commonsense, but it can save lives in that sort of heat, especially if you are caught out in a van, etc.

Also keep an eye out for fires too. Thanks folks.

Take care everyone.

Joe.

And don't forget the wildlife.
These koalas came down from their tree to accept a drink. We now leave containers of water under their favourite trees.

After watching the little birds around me all standing around my awning with their beaks wide open I thought I would do the same Peter and Margaret. I now leave a shallow bowl full of water in the shade for them and they love it. I even saw a lizard about 9" long having a slurp just before dark last night. He even looked up at me as if to say "thanks mate". Everyone and everything is feeling this heat.

I have been drinking plenty today, seems though like I have been sweating it out as fast as it goes in.

Seems bit weird, walking outside at 8.00 PM and it is still 43 C.

Much cooler tomorrow they say.

Joe
