Dog sitters

does anyone know if there is a site for dog sitters when you are travelling with your pooch but want it cared for a few hours , day or two .

i know there are sites for people who will come and stay at your home but is there one for just occasional sits along the road.

Some caravan parks have ads for sitters & some parks have a yard that a dog can be left in. Just GOOGLE dog sitter and the town you are in. Even seen people with dogs in parks who have looked after someone else's dog whilst they go for lunch or shopping. Then the reverse next day.

What we do is ring the local vet, sometimes they even do it!!

We've also found vets helpful, as the previous poster said, some of them will look after dogs short term for a fee.

Also ask the van park owner, some parks have permanent residents prepared to pooch sit.smile
