I have a 2011 Esperance and I occasionally hear an alarm from my electrical control panel. I think it might be low water house water level but it some times alarms when I have 30% in the tank. I am not convinced the calibration of the level gauge is accurate. it often jumps from 0% to 30% by adding just a few litres of water.
Can someone tell me if the level indicator should step in 10% increments or is the measurement less defined than that?
Thanks for your reply Possum. Not sure this is correct. Although the manual shows 5 "switch" points (which should be 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% which agrees with your answer) I have variously seen readings on the display of 0%, 10%, 30%, 50%, 70% and 100% but never 25% or 75%.
I have 2 problems: The the annoyance of the occasional alarm beep and the inaccuracy of the gauge. If I slowly fill the tank it often jumps from 0% to 30% and then to 50% which means if the display is reading 30% I could have anywhere between 10 litres and 40 litres.
I need to remove the level switch/switches and do some proper investigation/fault finding. I will tell the forum what I find.
I have solved my problem and now have an accurate level indicator and alarm. I disabled and scrapped the old system.
Adjacent to the Winnebago Panel I have added a small 40mm x 60mm LED display to show my water tank levels. It displays in 1% steps (or I could choose to display in litres.) It cost AU$130. I then replaced the original 5 level switch system on my fresh water tank with a level transmitter that cost me AU$65. It is connected to the indicator with a single pair cable supplied with the unit.
The indicator is configurable to flash on high and low levels.
I then added a second transmitter to the sullage water tank and connected it to the same display, via a small 3 position, centre off, selector switch. I could have purchased a second indicator but that would have cost another $130 instead of $5 for the switch.
The system works perfectly. I press the selector switch to view either tank and I have an accurate reading down to 1%. (subject to the motorhome being level)
It has been a while, but thank you for coming back and letting the forum know your fix.

It's been a while because it took some time to find a proper solution. 25% steps are better than nothing but once I drop slightly below 25 litres the Winnebago system shows 0%. Then you have to guess - How much water am I now using?
My system now tells me whether I can have a shower or should I just use more deodorant.
Travel safe. It won't be long now.
