Around 11am this morning a collision occurred involving a car, a car towing a caravan and a truck on Great Eastern Highway approximately at Burlong, 5 km west of Northam.
The driver of the car, an adult woman, received serious injuries and was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance but died a short time later.
The driver of the car towing the caravan was also injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
