We take our 20 ft van up the Bruxner, a bit slow but no problem. Yes the bends are a bit tight.

If you are going from Casino to Glen Innes, best route is Casino, Grafton to Glen. This may not be where you are going, just a thought.

Which ever way you go you still have to climb the mountain.

There is no problem with any of the roads labeled "highway" going from the coast to the New England Highway. They are all used by semi-trailers. If a semi can do it then any size van can be towed up there. Sharp bends just mean you reduce your speed to suit.

As for the hills, there are none that will give troubles to rigs that are not overloaded. Steep hills just means you will have to use the gears going uphill or down.

I have towed as similar size van up and down all those roads many times without problems.
