Hi, I recently had a stone crack/chip my windscreen. I was in Ballina NSW, and contacted Wisecracks, and they were absolutely amazing, and filled the crack the next day for $65. Windscreens O'Brien were double this. Fabulous friendly efficient service. My tip would be as soon as it happens to you, try and keep it clean. Wisecracks don't do complete windscreen replacements, but will give a good recommendation for a local company...

The secret is to get the glue down into the plastic layer they say. And also do it asap.I know it was cheaper those years ago, but today going for as little as $15-00 on ebay.
I doubt that Supercheaps quality would be much different to the other cheapies.
I know folks shy away from these jobs, but I know that wind screen mobs have a high turn over of bodies, and it is just a street man with 5 min of training doing the job.
Thanks... The big problem with replies on this forum is that the great and quick forum is that not enough questions are asked. For example before replying to this I think the first question should have been "how bad or big is the chip", as in this case it had come right through the windscreen which might have generated a different response. The job that Wisecracks did was fantastic and I am very happy.
