ufo's

Being that there are lots of folk on here that camp out in the bush away from city lights , anyone seen any noteworthy sitings skyward , I keep looking while travelling  but no success , when we were younger back in the 70's , travelling towards cactus beach late one night about an hour out of port augusta  we observed a pulsating glowing object above a car coming toward us from a long way off , we stopped on the roadside and turned off our lights and the engine to watch and listen , there was not a sound . As the car got closer the object zigged and zagged  , the car came past us moving fast , after the driver seen us , he  hit the brakes and reversed back to us about a 100 metres . The guy asked if we were ok , we pointed to the light directly above and blurted out it had been following him for a long way . when we told him he freaked out  . At that we jumped in my car and took off in the opposite direction without turning the lights on for a mile or two , left the poor bas....d on his own .

Yep, about 20 odd years ago was looking at the night sky, seen what I thought was a 'falling star' travelling vertically down, but then it stopped, split in two & travelled horizontally & in the opposite direction to each other, then disappeared. Weird?

Hi smile

Yea back when I was young a mate and I were taking the back road up through Mudgee to Orange for the weekend and stopped for a sleep in the back of the car. We could see straight out the back window and after some time noted a strange light that moved around not far away. Hard to remember exactly but we though it was very unusual and it sort of hung around then moved to a new spot a few times. I believe after some time we decided to move on biggrin as sleep was not coming to us.

No extraterrestials came and took us away though no I have seen plenty of unusual lights since then in the bush but nothing so close ! Indeed if you look up there are usually some odd lights to be seen out there. Possibly satelites and planes that catch the last sun over the horizon. Certainly there are stars you cannot see in town.

Saw two ufo's years ago travelling north at high alttitude. Suddenly they stopped and went west at high speed. Four of us were gobsmacked.
Another time about 15 years ago Four us were at Agnes waters when we saw what looked like a blue fluro tube going through the sky. When it came closer ,and it was high, you could see that it was an object shining a blue beam down from underneath it. It was going in an apparent search pattern as if looking for something. Funny thing this big flat top army semi crashed out of the bush next morning with a big tarp covering what was obviously a big satellite dish. Nothing on the news in Brisbane. But local Gladstone news said it was a breakaway satellite. Yeah right!!!!

Back in the 70's that could be a result of some good drugs downed with cheap alcohol. LOL.

We were camped outside Cooberpedy and this light was coming at us from a long way out. It was coming fast and went right by us at a good speed.

I reckon that's what happens if you camp near a train track.smile
