Milton, NSW - The Duckhole

Set on a picturesque 200 acres of working cattle farm just 10 minutes from Milton NSW, my Auntie Elsie is now hosting caravaners and campers at her property - The Duckhole.

The Duckhole offers 1 powered site and 13 unpowered sites. There are no toilets facilities, however there is a single outdoor shower on site.

Access is via a sometimes rutty dirt road, so take your time if you have a load. I had no issues with my 19' boat last weekend, and would expect even a large caravan could easily access sites 1 & 2.

The best thing about this site is the privacy, with sites 9, 10 and 14 in particular unlikely to see or hear any other sites.

The property is home to cows, horses, chickens, kangaroos, ponies, dogs, and even deer have been sighted. Well behaved dogs are allowed.

Bookings can be made through youcamp (click here). If you have trouble reply to this thread or shoot me a message and I'll assist.

Below are a few pics with descriptions below each.

Anyone recognise old mate from here at site 1?

Site 3 is my pick - situated on the grass in front of the duck hole. Bass up to 50cm, and eels over 1 metre have been caught in this hole.

Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 14 & 15 are flat sheltered campsites along the Yackangurrah creek.

The farm looks very welcoming and has possibilities for a relaxing break.

All the best for success to the host.

Thanks Radar,
I've been going there for 40 years, such a beautiful place and Elsie is a fantastic host. She's now received 47 5 star reviews on youcamp!

It's also a handy second income for her, especially as they've been in drought. Best news is they got 2" of rain last week :)

I've updated the special - we're now offering $15 per night (plus $5 for power) for 4+ nights up until Christmas.

Thanks for all the great reviews on wiki camps, the 4+ night special at $15 per night seems a winner with grey nomads
