Has anyone on the forum had any experience with Falken Tyres on their van or tug

Yes, on our Nissan Navara which we use to tow our 2.7 tonne caravan.

They are reasonably quite for a light truck all terrain tyre. To say they will last any better then the tyres the Nissan come with no about the same.

What ever they were Bridgstone/Goodyear lasted 55000 ks, the Flaken now have 45000 ks, will get 10 to15000 ks maybe more, first lots tyres wore sort of evenly to end which I blamed the production line wheel alignment for the edge wear. The Flaken are wearing fairly well, not great but OK.

Starting to think before we go away on a fairly long tour in March 2019 I will probably buy a new set of tyres, they will be a more road style patterned tyre, instead of saving $50 a corner I will go to about the $260 mark as I orignally intended but I had brought a second hand caravan and was throwing money at it faster then I would of liked, thus I saved a dollar threw cents away.

Michelin is my choice at the moment, my thoughts only.

Hope this helps in some way.

Had a set of brand new Falken tyres fitted to our Falcon XR6 a few years back.

They wore out very quickly.

Recently got a full set of Yokahama Delivery Star light truck tyres fitted to our caravan.

Just completed a 3,500km trip around Outback NSW, didn't even wear the little new tyre nipples off them.
