Rocket I asked the other half and she said that you can sometimes remove scuff marks from lino by rubbing them with a damp pencil eraser. To me that sounded a bit like an old wives tale so I typed how do you remove scuff marks from lino into Mr google and sure enough it was there, they also suggested mopping the floor with a solution of 1 cup of white cider vinegar mixed in a bucket of hot water. Probably the best idea is to do what I did type your question into Google it doesn't matter what the subject is there always seems to be an answer.
Thanks for your swift reply belmont bear. Its all good now. Went out and bought vinegar but before trying that strop left some eucalyptus on the scuff for awhile and whalla it came off. Hes a keeper.
Now the scuffs marks are off go to your local floorcovering shop and by some lino seal sorry don,t know the product name but comes in a red bottle worth 2 years ago about $25 .The 3 or 4 coats you,ll get seals the lino making cleaning a lot easier.
