Finally Registered

Greetings all

I have finally registered to post here I have been reading these forums for several years now gathering all sorts of information that suits my build.

My build is more of what you would call a "Toy Hauler" with most of the luxuries that you caravan folk enjoy, I to enjoy my creature comforts.

This is my second "Toy Hauler" and I have learnt a lot from reading various forums & researching what advice has been offered to others, its amazing what you learn if you stop to listen then do your own research.

My built is 8 Meters long on the floor and 2.44 Meters wide, its built to transport my race car and I also have provision inside to transport my motorbike if I just want to get away from it all :)

I am fitting this one out with a king size bed in the front that will double as 2 Two Seater Sofa's with a table between them, Above them is an overhead Console that houses the stereo and speakers, a little further back is a winch concealed under the floor to pull my race car into the trailer

Mowing towards the rear there is a split system Air Conditioner with a TV opposite hanging on a swivel bracket that can be positioned for viewing anywhere inside the trailer and can even pivot to the outside for viewing when sitting outside under the annex, beneath both of these units are tables that swing up & lock into place,

Further back on the main side I have boxes recessed into the side that will house work lights so when working on the car we wont need leads and lights running all over the place, Under the floor is my water tank & pump, a Air Tank that's has 6 outlets underneath for when working on the race car along with an air outlet inside, this one will mainly be used for the Air Bags that go under the car when transporting it, there is also a large underfloor storage compartment

At the rear there is a single bed on each side, above one is the overhead cupboards that will house the microwave along with plates, glasses etc the other will be used for food storage, there is also a spare wheel on one side wall and my race car jacking system on the other wall

hope I can migrate in here and share advice with others happy campers

regards

Rod

Welcome Rod.

A very valuable Forum it is for the dispersal and consumption of knowledge!1

Curious to know now, what type of race car do you have?

My Godson raced an Aussie Race car for a couple of years, pit crewed for him a couple of times.

Cheers,

Chris.

Welcome to the gang Rod, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I love the sound of your rig and would love to see some pics in and out including the 'fast' car. Maybe put them in the 'Show us your rig' section of this great forum, that way they are easy to track down at a later date when this thread ends up in the dungeon.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Corners don't bother me done plenty of that when I was much younger, but when you have an hour to catch someone where is the fun or skill in that  biggrin Drag Racing you have seconds if you lucky to catch your opponent.....

I have done Skydiving & Aerochute in the past, I like to live in the fast lane, Drag racing is something that's been my hobby for many many years
