After 10 years of wandering we sold the rig and bought a house BUT a few months ago were again bitten by the wanderlust bug. As we have been "off the road" for 4 years I decided to look at this & other sites for updates. It made me chuckle to see there are still those "dream stealer's) stories. The most amusing and varied are those concerning a certain clubs favourite blight.....Grey Water. Having enjoyed both motorhome & caravan travel I have used holding tanks, hoses, buckets and portable "tanks". The waffle that abounds on this topic is to say the least as weird and uninformative as it always was....some places ban RVs that don't have a built in grey water tank, some ban pop tops, some ban...the list goes on. I read of some who retro fit a tank, some of which are elaborate and expensive but am yet to read if any have considered the extra weight. Expecting that there are still campers and backpackers that park alongside massive motorhomes & fifth-wheelers doing the same things in the same place at the same time & spending money electively in the towns, we are looking forward to the people, the new gadgets , the excitement of those starting out and, Oh yeah the weird & wonderful tales. See ya on the wallaby.
