I met an old farmer who lived in the most snake infested country you ever saw He told me that he keeps a vitamin c injection in his fridge(you can get them at most farm animal feed stores). He gives the bitten dog the injection in the scruff of the neck. Then he gives them heaps of activated charcoal powder in water orally using an eyedropper. He said he had never lost a dog to snake bite and there had been plenty bitten. I always carry activated charcoal for both myself and my dog. Great for food poisoning, stomach cramps or a fart attack.
