You can also use CRC Glass Cleaner which sells at any reputable Auto Parts/Accessories store for about $15.00. I've used the CRC Glass Cleaner for years now and it leaves no smudges or stains when used with the cheap paper hand towels.

What you need is Vuplex, used on any perspex widows even by aircraft pilots. Available at Autobarn etc.

We've been using it for 6 years, fantastic stuff.

HI thanks for responses,i did track down vuplex at bunnings

also forgot to mention motorhome is a toyota coaster so all glass.

I did try o'brien glass they think it is from bore water.

I don't think the vuplex will work on glass, but if you think it will let me know please

Thanks Glenn

Hi Keith,

Would it possibly remove calcium stains from windows......my car has some which seemingly impossible to remove.

I have been careful due to not wanting to damage paintwork but have tried a few different things but mostly to no avail.

Cheers AL

Replacement on RV a domestic skylite from Dario SA on RV. No instructions to install and after 12 months started to Craze over from thin plastic protective cover not removed on install . Tried every thing and went back to well tried method. Start off with wet/dry 120grit, then 1000 grit, then 2000grit and then cut & dry heavy and finished of with car polish. Came up like new. Also Isoproperline Alcohol from Bunnings is a rubbing compound that'll give a really good finish. Yellow head lights repaired as above and then plastic spray to finish.OK

Hi Glenn,
Try the CRC Glass Cleaner. I have used it on bore water stains on glass previously and it is great. I used to use it to clean the windows of my work vehicles when they had been washed down with either untreated dam water or bore water and it cleaned them so it was as though there were no windows there, they were so clean.
Regards
Dave

Vuplex is purely a perspex cleaner & scratch remover. We use it on our caravan windows & boat windscreen. Works a treat.

It doesn't do anything when used on glass.

A clay cloth or clay bar does wonders to strip contaminants off glass and paint.

Hi Glenn,
The beauty of the CRC is that you can use it on interior surfaces as well, especially for cleaning mirrors, etc.

Try cutting a lemon in half and wipe it over the effected area.

not sure ! have since tried crc and no go

when i went to o'briens they seemed to think it was from bore water,

they did say they had some type of acid (which needed gloves breathing apparatus and special clothing)

which they would not sell, so i may go back to them and get a price.

They hadn't seen the vehicle so  i suppose more guess work on bore water.

Will let you know!

Thanks Glenn
