dog.....Why do couples travel with a dog or two.

I notice that the original poster has not replied to any post so the whole idea was to stir. What a shame to have that as your aim in life.

Funny how people react also . You could have the best well behaved dog . Yep some people go nuts . Same with noise or generator . Mine is built I. With sound insulation. I never run it after dark . 10m away you wouldnāt know it was running . Yet Iāve had other campers drive past . Camp 200 meters away the run back to say I have my generator running ! Where we can run it . Sheesh Like at home your kids and dogs are what gets is in contact with neighbours good or bad !

It's certainly a sad way to relieve boredom.

Hi,

My wife and I are not what you would call classic dog owners, our dog became ours by default mainly.

One of our sons moved out then as they do, moved back complete with Ruby, a 6 month old American Staffie/English bulldog cross. He then elected to move out again and we did not like where she was going to have to live so ended up keeping her....which then became permanent.

Now at 6 years of age Ruby has been an excellent dog, friendly, quiet and great in the car so she comes with us nowadays....making friends with people where ever we go. Certainly there are times where it is an impost(think going to shops, certain caravan parks, national parks etc) to have her with us but overall we enjoy her company....probably more so than we would the original poster.

Cheers AL

 Thanks for pointing that out.
