Julia Creek Qld coffee and scones

Hi All.

This morning along with friends went along to the CWA rooms in Julia Creek, their first week of operation a morning tea room in the main street of Julia Creek.

We had cappuccino and scones with jam and real yes real cream for $5 a head, fresh baked scones out of the oven at 9.30am.

Plenty of parking in the streets, everybody is welcome.

Photo showing some happy customers leaving after enjoying the fresh scones and great coffee.

Thank you CWA Julia Creek.20180622_130504.jpg

 22deg at 9pm, this morning at 7am 17degs.

Now at Burke and Wills Roadhouse 26degs coming up to 9pm.

But these temps will not help you in August.

G'day Ralph

Yeah matey - the Julia Creek mob certainly know how to put things on to attract us tourists and this is yet another of 'em

Also is their Monday night dinners for the town - even has a free bus out to the RV free-campers at the lagoon to bring campers into town for the Monday night dinners - along with some damn good eateries along the main street

It's a town that really knows the value of tourism
