heading up from Esperence to Perth and looking for any advice on where to camp. The road number is 40 and unfortunately haven't got any room to deviate much from the route and need to stay on the sealed roads, have no clue about this area so any help greatly appreciate.
You'd have to deviate a little but Kulin is a great town to stay, great caravan park and a good freecamp right in town as well. Its just south of Kondinin.
Yes, it is and I can vouch for the area, been through there many times. If you are self contained further on towards Corrigin but approximately 20kms east of Corrigin on the north side of the highway is another little spot with pit fires but no other facilities. Is is gravel though.
Gorge Rock, just googled it. Only a very short gravel access road to get into it. Nice walk up to gorge rock pool which was the Corrigin and district's local pool for many years.
