Is there such a thing as a 72 cell 12v panel with a vmp of 18v ? Tia Bas

Hi Bas smile

I have not seen one but it is quite possible. The panel cells are divided in two lots and wired in parallel. So really equal to two 36 cell panels in one frame and the current is doubled.

A lot of panels were made like that before and could be rewired in the junction box as 12V or 24V.
