My son in law had a cracked shower base in his caravan and I put a new fibreglass layer over the top of the old base come up good and has been a permenant fix with no more leaks or problems
As been mentioned previously, it may be because of lack of support underneath the base. On a previous van we had the shower base crack and by pushing down on it I found it was not against the floor.
To fix it, I went under the van and carefully drilled a 1/4 inch hole through the floor , and used expanding foam through this hole to fill under where the crack was.
Then as dragonfly did I put a fibreglass layer on top of base. This fixed it.
We had cracks in the shower floor as well Jayco Starcraft.... say no more.
Being an adventurous handi person I Double fibreglassed the floor with 2 coats of white flocoat. Been down for over 3 years now and no more cracks. Just read the instructions on all the fibreglass gear.
Cheers

I have the same problem. I had a bloke come round to quote redcoating and he said that it's osmosis and the shower has not been installed properly (3-4mm proud of base so never drains properly). He recommended I contact manufacturer, as consumer law these days covers this as it should of been fit for purpose. I haven't had a reply from them yet. Surprise, surprise. But I'm in the same boat of needing this fixed sooner rather than later.
