Do on my MR Deluxe van. Prior to getting one fitted I covered all the vents etc and still got dust inside. Now I dont cover any vents and minimal dust comes in. some people have installed 12v pressurizing (Bilge) pumps etc to keep inside dust free, and these can be expensive, both to purchase and fit.

We have one and find it works well, our van definitely has less dust in it when we use it than when we don't. We don't cover vents or do anything else except open it.

To make my van even more dustproof, I seal up the vent in the door with some squishable foam carpet underlay inserted between the inner and outer doors, covering the vent. We found that without this insert, dust used to come up through the door vent and then try to exit via the vents up near the roof. Sadly, the dust usually didn't make it and was deposited all over the seats, table and any other horizontal surface. Blocking up the door vent stopped 95% of the dust entering the van. We also have fitted a scupper vent in the roof, but rarely use it these days unless we are going on a dusty road. The important thing is that you must remove the foam when you stop because the vent in the door is there to let any gas which may be leaking go out the door (LPG is heavier than air). A simple mod to do and very effective.

We used the scupper vent and also put cardboard over the door vent. Between the two, had minimal dust in the van, even on raods with lots of fine bulldust.

Our vote is to use the scupper vent, works well on our Supreme Territory.

i fitted one , works a treat , best if its opened on the blacktop b4 you hit the dirt , but if your on the dirt to start off with we found it best not to follow anyone else's  dust if possible to start with .
