Lake Lascelles, Hopetoun

What a brilliant spot. Here for 4 nights. Weather good. Most people enjoying themselves. Entertaining with boats mainly towing small kids. Four parts to the camp; fully paid, bunkhouse type accomodation, paid spots with power and freebies. A real out-of-the-way gem.

Its the centre of the painted silo trail.

Plenty of camping options in the surrounding friendly towns in that area. Part of the silo trail.

A friend "Daisy" loves that camp. Haven't been there myself yet!

I have always enjoyed Hopetoun, enjoyed my stay in the old Hotel where during the night the wind whistles continuously lol through the old wooden window pane.  Oh the stories it must carry as it whisltles on its merry way.......wink.     Kisha.
