W.A Fortescue river mouth camp site 8th to 15th april

was wondering if any one will be at the Fortesque river mouth campsite on these dates as i am travelling up there to launch my boat and head off to the montebellos , was thinking of taking my car and trailer to the campsite and asking if someone could watch it while we are gone . There will be a few bottles of wine in exchange thanks

OK... I must be a grumpy old Bugger, but why can not people at least mention the State where their sight suggestions are???

Ok, Yes I can google it, which I did, but it appears to me that around  80% of suggestions re camp sights never give a clue as to where it is.

I agree  -  and the same with photos.  (a name and  an indicative  location is all that is needed .......Central NSW , Western Qld., Southern WA...)

Hi Mitchell,
You might do better at Gnoorea Point (40 mile) its a bit further up the road but there is a caretake at the campsite during the season. The place is controlled by the local shire and many grey nomads spend a few weeks there. You can find it on WikiCamps. There is a ramp good enough to launch a trailer boat. Photos of the campsite, ramp and a photo of the information sign about the campsite with the rangers phone no. also found on the WikiCamps Gnoorea Point (40 mile) page.

Cheers mate not to stressed about the vehicles just seeing if anyone will be there have a 8m plate ally to launch from there and less distance from Fortescue so more fuel over there
