Getting out and about with dogs

I found out last week, purely by chance, that we can take our dogs into Bunnings. Little ones can be in your trolly but bigger ones must have a muzzle. Great if you need parts to fix the rig.

Mick LOVES Bunnings !!
Everyone talks to him, some people pat him or rub his ears !
People stop for a chat with us as well,.....makes it a real pleasure to shop.
Better option than leaving him in the car, or even left alone at home, as its great for his brain to smell new smells and meet new people.
It took him a while to relax in the trolley, but we take a dog-quilt for him to sit on, and he is relaxed and happy.

We'd take the husky in, but not the kelpies - they have issues with shiny/slippery floors. Husky came Akubra shopping in Mitchell last week, he had a blast.

Hi everyone. I was at a local market a couple of weeks ago and there was a solo lady traveller of gentle age there with her two small dogs. She had an old style pusher, the one that you can lay the back down so bub can sleep. Both her little dogs we quite happy clipped in there with their harnesses, looking at all the goings on. She said sometimes she just needs to be out and about and its a great way to take the dogs. They are in nobodies way. I have stolen her idea and will train my boys to do this too.
