Has anyone travelled on the from Armidale to Grafton via Dundurrabin ? Will be towing a 21foot van. I have been down water fall way but looking at a new route.
Thanks for any info on this route.

I did that route from Grafton to Armidale about three years ago. I made a late start and finished in the Dark. I was driving a 30' Motor Home. I was flat towing a Suzuki Grand Vitara.
I wish I had done the whole trip in daylight. The views were great. Some of the bends have an advisory of 15kph. Well worth adhering to. Some of the bends were low on the passenger side so need care not to cut corners.
Glad I did not meet traffic heading towards me. All in all a beautiful drive if taken with care. Some magic views. Because I was in the dark for the last thirty or so Kilometres I did miss a turn to Armidale and instead headed towards Guyra. Taken with care the route is OK. I have been told the Casino route is easier but since I have not travelled that road cannot comment.
I have driven the Waterfall Way a few times but have not been on the bit through to South Grafton. Over the years the route to Grafton has been discussed, each time most of the respondents have agreed that it is OK for semi trailers. You should be OK on it.
