We take ours with us in the caravan. You need to have a twin LNB and twin through the wall connections and a "splitter box" from SatPlus cost a bit over $40 , which has two"in" terminals and "four" out terminals. Two of the outlets connect to the Fox box and one to the Sat free to air box. one outlet is not used. Out TV has two HDMI terminals and we change from one box to the other by changing from HDMI1 to HDMI2 on the TV.
Both Fox and free to air are from the same satellite.
No splitter box would be required if you used a quad out put LMB. These have four out puts. Two would go to your foxtel box and one would go your Vast receiver. The 4th out put could be used for your sattilight meter ( if self powering ), used for a second Vast receiver or just left blank.
The device you need is not a "splitter" it is a satswitch, 2 in 4 out will suit most setups. Using a satswitch you only need to run 2 co-ax cables to the van from your dish.
all neat and tidy that way.

I used the word "splitter box" as I didn`t know the correct name of the device. The unit I have is as Frank described it, and works good. Having another cable requires another through the wall fitting plus more cable to carry.
