11/12. That last one was a bit tricky. I just wish my kids thought my driving was as great as my memory. Apparently I drive like a grandma though our last trip I towed the caravan on a gravel road for the first time at the prompting of my husband so I am prepared in case of any emergency.
Got the first one wrong. Didn't notice the solid line. And the truck one. Don't care. I can see him and I give them a wide birth. Would never consider passing one.

Got the motor cycle question wrong.
I didnt have a clue actually
I have a full bike licence but based on todays traffic and general driving skills of the motorists I would never consider riding between two cars no matter what the rules.
That is not a bad idea to have a quiz like that for the motoring public..well done Qld and ABC.

9 out of twelve but I think the answer they give to Q6 is wrong in Victoria. My doctors surgery had a warning put on their notice board after a solid white line was painted down the center of the road outside the surgery and the police started booking people for doing a right hand turn into their driveway. Gday...
It is not unusual to encounter an ill-informed, over-zealous?, police officer.
It is DEFINITELY legal to cross a single solid white line in the middle of a road to enter or leave the road - ie entering or leaving a driveway.
Just done some googling and it appears I am wwwwwrong there.
Gday...
NAH Landy ... given what you knew (were advised) from either the doctor's surgery notice board which was incorrect/misinformed ... or the booking of driver's was an ill-informed or over-zealous police officer. Perhaps it was even a patient to the doctor's surgery that was booked, but did not understand just what the police officer wrote up the ticket for.
I can cite many instances where one of the revered constabulary has not fully understood a new rule - or misunderstood a road rule. They are, after all, only human.
cheers - John

Dick,
You are smarter then the years you show.

8/12. Not happy Jan. We only have 1 double lane round about here so must check the arrows next time I go through it. I knew our motorcycle rules changed a while back but didn't know the new rule well enough and got the truck one wrong, thought they'd be able to see the yellow car and I got the merging one wrong. I have done the test questions a few times so thought I'd do better.
Not enough fingers and toes to count how many times I've been abused by people that don't know how to use a roundabout.

Disagree with question 2, every truck of all sizes I have driven in the last 20 odd years have fish eye mirrors fitted on both sides to specifically allow you to see the yellow car,

Hey Jim,
i got another one wrong as well. 10 / 12
the one with the Stop sign on one side and the Give Way sign on the other had me stumped.
I must say in all my driving I cannot remember an intersection with this sign arrangement...hahaha maybe only in Qld.
I dont ride anymore Jim, but if I did I still would not ride between cars....I refer to them as "Temporary Australians"
