An out-of-control bushfire has burned at least one house at Carrum Downs, in Melbourne's south-east, and the blaze is burning dangerously close to other homes in the area.

Sadly it was deliberately lit. A 15 year old girl has  been charged.

I read that this morning as well PT - what on earth would induce someone to deliberately light a fire on a day like yesterday. We are currently in sheep and hay country - so very dry - watching the skyline all day for signs of smoke.
