Hinge problem solved.
The young lady at Page Bros Jayco Frankston Victoria saved the day.
Part number is JAC3718Q.
You have to drill some new holes but no big deal, so happy we got it.
It's incredible the lack of interest and knowledge we encountered at the various Jayco dealers until we found someone who was switched on and could read the computer.
thanks for letting us know. I suspect they are the same hinges as Dario were able to source, as I know Australian Caravans (Adelaide Jayco dealer) also got some after firstly being disinterested, and then finding out Dario were helping their customers.

Chaos, mayhem, confusion. Good my job here is done
G'day Ian. Dario was my next port of call. I was wearing out a lot of shoe leather chasing this hinge but thought that Jayco must surely have a replacement. You just have to find the right spare parts person who likes their job and not there only to fill in their day.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Just a passing comment - a lot of Jayco dealers are only interested in selling new vans. "If it's broken, we can sell you a new van"!
I'm on my second Jayco but my local dealer has turned me off going back to them! I can get most spares from elsewhere & the service man that they use works for them 3 days a week - the other two, he works for himself & is $100 cheaper on a service!!

To Warren-Pat 01,
I think you are on the money with that observation.
The lock on our toilet cassette external hatch broke while we were travelling.
We contacted Jayco at Bunderburg spare parts, who didn't know what we were taking about. So I sent a photo from the "Caravans Plus" website to them. Still no joy so ordered the part from Caravans Plus and had it sent to a post office in a town we were travelling through in a weeks time. Easy as that. I sometimes wonder why they bother with a spare parts section at all at the dealerships.
