You did not give us any ideas regarding your tow vehicle.
Whatever van you choose ensure you obtain an accurate Weighbridge Tare also ensure your choice can comply with Caravan Council Compliance checklist www.caravancouncil.com.au/compliance
I would prefer a dual axle model for better road control on heavy van, with leaf springs. Regarding Tow vehicle - be aware of GCM of your vehicles including occupants and all your gear. All Jurisdictions are now doing roadside weight compliance testing
Go into it with eyes open and ensure your Dealer is reputable. Follow the guidelines and you will get a good unit.
Look forward to meeting you out there. Possum.

Bushtracker have a good reputation but their service is classed as 2nd grade. If I could justify the expense, I'd have a Trackmaster. Their only vice is E-W beds but they are narrower than most other vans.
As Possum mentioned - see what your vehicle can do. Take heed of your GCM.

If you don't get it done today, there's always tomorrow!
You've all missed the Kimberley Kruiser, or, the little brother, Kimberley Karavan. Had our Kruiser for a year and a half, on the road full time (house rented for a few years) and apart from a few teething troubles, we are wrapped!! Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for I feel. We crossed from WA to Uluru on the Great Central Road recently, (1000km of dirt - some good, some very bad) with no issues and not a speck of dust inside. Stopped to talk to another couple heading west in an off road van, and they had had their caravan door fall off!
So, if you want take a look at what you get with the Kruiser go to.
