Good morning,

I recently purchased a Satlink 6906 and found the instructions to be somewhat useles.  Could not get an kind of signal.

Does anyone have a detailed step by step, easy to use instructions for the Satlink 6906?

Bill , if you are near a satellite dish retailer ( Access Antenas Perth , sat plus etc ) take it in and they can program it to C1 . I did same and cost me 35 bucks ! Best finder I've used ,so easy ! And yes , instructions are crap . Cheers !

Bill appears to want to find the satellites for the US service DirecTV.

His post about this in another forum area contained that bit of information, and probably answers why he is not getting a signal here. His set up is not suitable for VAST service here, and the unit can't get a sighting, and is not tuned for, the US satellite.

Would that be about the mark Bill?

Looking on the Whirlpool forum about this service, it appears DirecTV is only available here by streaming from a friends service, over the internet, if you have someone available in America, or something similar.
