Ideal for a solo traveller I suppose if they like that open sports feeling, wind in the hair (if they have any) whilst getting high on the fumes.

I came across a gent and his wife, in a tractor towing a caravan, in about 2014

They told me that for many years they towed a camper trailer

There is supposed to be a tribe of like minded people, in the South West of WA

Before my time, but there was supposed to be a tractor as "Tail end Charlie," following the Redex overland race in the early 1950's

Read about it here. - - And here. The Chamberlain tractors had a spring front axle, therefore their speed was not limited like those with unsprung front ends. Tail end Charlie had a specially cut differential to give it the extra speed. In the 1957 Mobilgas rally it averaged around 950 km per day.
