 Please explain. What is the model of signal finder you are talking about? What is the app store you are talking about?

No link appeared above but the one I have found very useful is from the App Store and it is called

Antenna Mate.

From memory it came at a small cost but it does work quite well.

Hi All,  Mea culpa. I have to plead guilty to misleading the house, (will I have to resign??) The app I referred to is indeed Antenna Mate and it did cost $4.99. I did not check whether it is available for Android phones but I can't see them missing out on that section of the market.  Apologies for the error.

I just did a quick google and unfortunately could not see the app being available on the android platform.
Maybe I missed something or just maybe in time it will be released on android.

Here is the link to their website.

antennamate.com/

quick edit;

in the FAQ section of their website they mention no android decelopment will happen but they do point android users to this site.

Get your self one of these, then its just a matter of raising the antenna connecting the finder turn on booster if you have one then rotate the antenna until you find the strongest signal. It does make life easier.

The Happy Wanderer worldwide vhf/uhf tv signal finder - has worked well for me for the last 7 years. Small fast and easy to use. Similar to the one in the previous post.

Cheers, John.
