It fits behind the front seats and holds about 100 litres. I thought this would be easier than carrying large water containers and could be pumped into the van tanks by means of a 12v pump. I was wondering about the likelihood of springing a leak and flooding the car.
Any thoughts and stories of your experiences with these would be appreciated.
We have a 100L bladder for extended free camping in one spot. Exactly as you said, every time we go for a drive, into town shopping etc we fill it to bring back to the van.
I have a 12v pump set up to transfer the water into the van quickly.
They are very strong, provided you keep sharp objects away it will last you for years.
Cheers Neil

Rod
G,day Rod, we have the same bladder, & exactly as Delta18 says they work perfectly. We wrap ours in an old doona to protect it from anything that might damage it when in use...
I have the same fitted but I plumbed it to the towbar for ease of filling. Then conected from tow hitch to T conector on van pump. This way I can choose to have van tanks empty (180kg lighter) & (and ute 100kg heavier) have been doing this full time for 2years now.

Hi. We often used MARINE. Diesel and Water bladders.
Bouncing olling\banging round for yrs.In some atrocious seas.
Constantly. for days\weeks at a time.
My last 2 were over 12 yrs old. never a problem.
Still have a 50ltr water here. "Plastimo".
THEY were the ONLY ones that didn't taint the inner bladder
over any period of time.
More exxy. Better quality. Probably same nowadays.
