Hi fellow Nomads   I have a Toyota Hiace 2000 & I want to fit a screen door to keep out unwanted pests, especially the scaly kind.  Can anyone give any pros or cons for zippered or magnetic mesh screen doors.   thanks    Haze

Hi haze, a friend of mine has the magnetic mesh n is happy with It. Also have seen rat sak being put under car to deter Rats. Not a good idea, the longer We r on the road the more disasterous things I c. The good, the bad and the ugly.  Ah. The joys of travel. Cheers.

The magnetic mesh gets the flies and mossies off your back as you come through. Wont help with the scaley slithery ones.

I wonder if there is anything like the sliding mesh doors on the AVans is available - was thinking of this as you have a sliding door - not a security door, but enough to keep creepy, flying, biting beasties out, I would think.

Thanks one & all for your comments. Will investigate the sliding screen a bit further. Dont think it will fit however, as the opening has a slight curve upwards. Had this problem fitting a security screen to the sliding window. Cheers
