I presume you mean the Mt Darragh road that runs from just south of Pambula to Bombala thence to Cooma.

Haven't tried it myself, but several others I know have and don't recommend it.

What do others think?

For me I have always used the Brown Mountain - towed our van up and down it about ten times without any problems.

 Murray

(Checked my log - made six return trips on Brown Mountain towing the van and three 'solo' ones.)

Yes, take the Brown Mountain road. The other road is full of logging trucks that are taking pine logs to Eden. Also, in my opinion, not much to see on this road.

Are you Imlay about the Timber Road or the road directly from South Pambula through Wyndham and Mt Darragh?

The road through Wyndham may not be s steep as the Brown Mountain road, however the Wyndham road is much slower then Brown Mountain. Go that way. There is a short cut from Wolumla through Candelo to Bemboka that I take.
