The mystery Tyre

confuseconfuseconfuseconfuseconfuse

We went shopping today, got home. Sitting at our front door is a tyre fitted to an identical wheel to our boat, No note. No nothing confuseconfuseconfuseconfuse. As new tyre, same as mine.confuseconfuseconfuse.

Thankyou out there. Our boat is out of sight , locked up in the cave.confuse

Happy Days.

Strange how things just turn up. Where ever we are staying we go for an early morning walk. Last year we were camped at Broken Bucket Tank on the Nhill-Murrayville track VIC when on our morning walk we found a brand new tyre pressure gauge in a pouch. A few weeks ago on a trip to the Top End we were walking along the Arnhem Hwy near Aurora Kakadu Resort. We mentioned that we'd found the tyre pressure gauge & a few other bits & pieces over the years. We walked another 20 metres & believe it or not there was a tyre pressure gauge in a plastic case lying on the shoulder of the road. It probably came from one of the work utes at the Ranger uranium mine near Jabiru. Weird coincidence though!!!! confuse.gif confuse.gif

Jim, Did you check that it's not the spare that your son borrowed last week and didn't tell you about?

I picked up a winding handle for a fiamma awning, a few years ago just out of Rocky. No body else there, they must have dropped it as they left.

We picked up a good black front door mat for outside- someone left it - now we have left it for someone else!

Also a tyre lever - knew it would come in handy sometime - friend camped up with us snapped his in half - voila - here's another one!

Found a tyre lever once. It was inside a punctured tyre I got.

The mystery has been solved.

I got a text saying (Enjoy the tyre).

My old mate moved down the NSW Coast to be by the sea, last year.

He went to a decease estate. Garage sale around the corner from him and paid $10.00 for it.

He came up on the weekend to visit some of his family. Rang the bell, and no answer. So left it where we wouldn't miss it.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

He has been around boats / trailers with me for 35 years.

He said he would collect, when we next visit them at Xmas.

His markup is a Carton of lite.hmmhmmhmm

Done deal.smilesmilesmile
