Just spent two nights, only supposed to be one, but we went shopping yesterday, and decided it was too late to head off somewhere else, so went back to the Port camp - excellent spot - toilets and showers about 50m away, dump point, and potable water is available at the camp.
People next door had a Fiat as well, but did we get out and talk to them, no - did they get out and chat - no!
Got a message today asking if we were there last night - the people next door are GN members, Dawn and Alan, and we have had a couple of private messages previously, but never met.
We are now parked at different places, Dawn left a message on my phone, rang her, and we will meet up somewhere around Perth.
Talk about a small world

Blimie Jules, How did you survive two nights. With all the Cargo boats departing and arriving at all hours, Plus the grain trains coming and going.
Did you take your hearing aids out each night.
Worst experience we ever had last year on our way home. The paint had not dried on the road, marking out the new bays. We had read about it, in the local paper up in Carnarvon the night before, and looked forward to a freebee not.Never again.
Stayed there a few weeks back. Its tight but a good overnighter. We had a yak to a couple in a Dennis bus. Close to shops and waterfront precinct, dump point etc . All for nix!!no complaints here!
