These cookers are so useful and yet theres been so many recalls. I must remember to check mine. Its packed at the back of the shed and unreachable at the moment until the house is handed over in about three weeks time and all the furniture moved out.

To think in the old days going camping, fishing with brothers and Dad . We had a two burner mentholated spirits cooker . It was an oven or two plates with two small old sardine tins with metho in . Cooked very well . Actually used to smoke fish too!! Nothing like fresh smoked Mullet !!! Salt and raw sugar added before smoking !' Yum !
