That car was well behind when I began to make themaneuver. We have found that the indicator lights, are very directional and now wonder if the indicator lights can actuarly be seen by motorists in the lanes each side of the van.
Some people think that the RH lane is theirs and you should not use it. I have had this happen several times. I see plenty of room between me and the bloke in the RH lane. I put my indicators on and a few seconds later commence to move into the RH lane. Next thing I see him speed up and squeeze past me with horn blazing. He has sped up so much he has to brake heavily to prevent himself running into the bloke that I was pulling over behind. Sometimes you substitute she for him. I see this happening to others in front of me who have attempted to pull into the RH lane. There are many on the road too impatient to allow others to change lane.

So much for Indicators on the sides of Caravans ,it would be helpful if most Motorists knew what the little lever on the steering column was for first, most only put them on as they turn, or not at all.
I wrote to one Motoring Journalist last year and asked that he recommend to Manufacturers that I,ndicators on ALL NEW VEHICLES be Located on the TOP of THE FRONT WINDSCREEN PILLAR on each side. Most new vehicles today the front indicators are so invisible either by location in the shape of the frontal design or have clear lens'and Amber Painted globes in them, Bloody Hopeless.
