Is this a Mallee Ringneck Parrot I spotted in Quorn SA

Yep it's a Mallee Ringneck, we've photographed them many times, a wide spread species.

Yeah I agree Mike , DD those pics are great especially the bottom one , did you take them yourself ? If so you should post them more often .

I'd rather see great pics of wildlife and places than editorial any day .

We did take them ourselves, that's the major reason for our travels. We post some of our images in the SHARING PHOTOS section of this forum.

Our best images are posted in Birdlife Australia's Image Gallery. Here's another of our Mallee Ringneck images to enjoy, they're great birds.

We're flying up to Darwin in a few days for a 3 week photographic trip to Kakadu/Katherine we'll post some images in the SHARING PHOTOS section when we get back.
