My dad had quite a collection of 78s which included one he had made of himself (sax) and the group he played with. The equivalent of cutting a CD today but this was in the 1940s.

The one I kept playing over and over as a kid was Andy Griffith - What is was was Football. The other was Bob Newhart.

I have 1500 , 78rpm records & three players to play em on , including a "wind-up" Gramaphone.

And Yes I play em . I am putting most of them on cd too . I also have 5000Lps , 2500 singles & 3000 tapes.

only a couple of hundred cd's tho . yep . I like my music.
